getting the nano tank tonight and other random stuff....

Getting my nano tank tonight....Next Saturday I will be getting LR from Greg, and maybe be able to buy some other stuff from other people at the meeting...if I get to go, and looks like I'll be there, I think it will be really fun. Anyone have stuff they want to sell....email me or keep me in mind at the meeting...(I need easy stuff...Lori and Greg are gonna have to be my support people...I haven't had corals before) Poor poor Lori and Greg.
This summer, we should have a meeting up here in Cumberland....at the lake....on the pontoon....talk fish, talk fish....swim naked...talk fish!!!!
I don't know how many of you have been here....it's a 'Mud Duck' tourist area....they built million dollar 'cabins' on the lake....and I of course, should really live in one..lol!!!
Really looking forward to actually meeting/face to face...other swfish people...I know one guy who does salt water...and actually he doesn't yet, he's just planning on it....but has put a huge tank in his basement wall. It should be neat, and if anyone is single (girls) this guys is REALLY good looking....let me know and I'll fix you up . You can teach him a few things.......lol. Tonight...I am going to have a non-alchy beer and pretend I'm drunk..(Actually I probably will be!) I turned 45 today. Half way to 90. No one in my family (brothers/sisters/parents/ even remembers it's my birthday, and I didn't even get one present........must say something about ME!!!! Hmmmm. OH DR. PHIL.......YOOOHOOOOO. (I am getting MY OWN present with my husbands credit card...my NANO tank.....yeee haaa!!!!)
Excited to meet all that go to the meeting....who has been to Stella Blues or Mona Lisa's? Just a random question...if you've been there you know Lisa...that's what I look like...so you'll know who I am...only an ugly version of Lisa...she is my cousin. LOL, have only been to her rest. once! Have a painting at Stella Blues...(SP???) but have never been there. I don't leave the house much, that's why I like my fish.....oh I am so pitiful. I am just silly goofy excited about meeting ya'll at the meeting.....I am just like a kid about it.....I need a life ha? Geez. Have a great day alla ya!!!! Celebrate my birthday and go buy yourself something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to planet soccer and met Greg and saw his set up.
He is a very nice guy and has a very nice salt facility. I am so excited for the meeting and having Greg's new salt place in town. The meeting will be a lot of fun.

I will start a thread this weekend with corals I have available.

yes Greg has a very nice start and i hope things get going real well for him. so all you reefers lets start giving Greg our business. And as for "mud ducks" pfft! i am a Viking fan so watch it! i will be there Saturday also, but i most likely will not be bringing anything to trade. i will be coming right from work, hopefully i can get out of there at noon. if not then i should be there by 1:30 or 2. But i will be bringing money so i can buy things from others.... hope to see you all there...

I haven't stopped by yet, but it sounds like Greg should set up a lounge and sell coffee. Everyone could gather and talk fish.

I haven't run it by Frank yet, but hopefully we'll be able to stop by for the meeting, too. Nano tanks must really be getting popular! I'm just mixing up some saltwater for a water change tonight for my 12 gallon. My candycane coral looks kind of sickly, and that red coral thing is still just kinda hanging around, but everything else is growing like crazy!

Didn't get my tank. Worst birthday on record. NEVER having another one. Oh well, life goes on.

Thank you everybody for all the nice things you post about the store.As for the coffee lounge , it sounds great but not yet. I can only handle one construction at a time. Stella'sBlues on the other hand sounds like a great place for the next meeting. Great food and maybe a drink or two ... All kidding aside I am really excited to see you all next Saturday and it has been a lot of fun meeting the ones that stopped by the store so far. A word of advice to those thinking about visiting the store...I might put you to work... just ask Chuzz and Devil Boy.I will see you on Saturday and I promise to have the place a lot cleaner than what the pix posted by Chuck are showing.

Oh BTW....Greg, I have lots of ideas about your tanks in 'other places', we'll start with my cousin and her eating/drinking establishments. I'll be emailing you. Gotta watch out for me, I am a business woman at heart and a brain stormer, can do a lot of damage...lol!!! I think I may already have a place up here that would want a tank......we'll talk.....coffee bar....I had one in a store, I'll help ya with that....heee heee, GIVE ME A PROJECT BEFORE I LOSE MY MIND. You should bring your husband along to the meeting Linda. My husband is thinking about coming to this one. His interest level in the tank comes and goes, but we did a water change today(finally) and he said the meeting sounds like fun.

Oh, that huge huge anemone I was telling you about Greg, it split last night. I will post some pics this week.
