Beer loving RBTA!

On the way home from work, I stopped off at Chuck's to pick up the little RBTA.

He found it had let go and was loose (which, I'm guessing, is why he offered it up for sale. ), so he scooped it into a glass to hold onto it until I could come and get it and the little bugger attached to the glass.

The beer glass.

Rather than stress the poor thing more than necessary, he just had me take the glass for now and I'll bring it back at the next meeting.
But, for now, I have an anemone in a Leinenkeugel's glass at the bottom of my tank.

Not the best quality, but it was a top down shot.

Heh, my parents would approve.

Nice pic Amanda, We know how to raise our BTA's here in the Chippewa Valley!

Try putting a shell or small rock in there with him and he will jump ship to that surface I would think,

He moved overnight and perched on a nice, highly visible rock. Tim was afraid it would move onto the back wall or somewhere hard to see.
The maroon clown just LOVES this new 'toy', though the little #(*&$# keeps knocking away and stealing food from the anemone. I've just been keeping the clown at bay using a second pair of long tongs to 'herd' her away from the tentacles while the anemone is eating.

I'd wanted a BTA of some sort as from all the reading I did, it seems that that's the ONLY natural host for maroon clowns and very few will accept other anemones as hosts.
I'm sure this girl would have; I mean she did host with a starfish and in turtle grass previously, but...might as well give her what she's looking for.
