Anenome

The RBTA that I got from David a couple of months ago has finally enticed our Maroon Clown (Bozo) to host it!

Good looking anemone!

You might want to manually remove that hair algae!

Todd's tank has been up and running for about a year. No doubt a system needs to be very stable before keeping an anemone or other demanding invert, but I don't think it's a matter of time so much as it is a matter of using proper equipment and doing routine maintenance and work on the tank. From what I've seen and know of Todd's system, it's capale of supporting the RBTA. Don't let the hair algae lead you to believe the tank is brand new... That said, it still looks like the algae is causing him trouble, and I'm sure he's still addressing it constantly as he was when the tank was just starting out. Todd's tank should be a good home to the little RBTA.

Yes, I believe that Todd has a great tank and knows what he is doing. When I saw the HA I was supprised, not that I haven't had out breaks before, but there wasn't any when I was at his house a month or two ago. My assumption is that his herbavores won't eat it do to the proximity to the RBTA. I have all confidence that he will make the RBTA very happy for many years to come.

Nice pics! I love the clown. Maroons are gorgeous fish. I wish I could get a mate for mine, but she is kind of a biatch. She killed her first mate, and I am a little to attached to try putting a bigger one than her in the tank in fear that it may kill her in the dominance battle.
