aclimating some new fish....

well i have gone and done it.....i have a temporary 5g nano setup that will be converted to a 10g hex later tonight...but anyways....ive always want to try to acclimate mollies into saltwater.

well i broke down and bought a dalmation molly and 2 sailfin mollies. and after 8 hours acclimation.....

the dalmation and the male sailfin are doing great in the saltwater as expected since they are brackish fish, but the female molly did not survive the change. she made it 2 days and that was that....she didnt look to healthy when i bought her but she was the only one..

my next challenge is gona be fancy tail guppies.....ive been doing some reading and i found a guy that does get them to cross over. he said after try after try it took a week of acclimation to get them to convert and now they are breeding in his seahorse tank...

i may and may not try this but ya never know.........
