Gloss black Krylon Fusion is what I used, and is what a lot of people use. The Krylon Fusion is one of the best spray paints you can buy, and it works really great as long as you take lots of time to apply several small coats over the course of a few hours.
For what it's worth, you really need to take your time if you're spray painting it. I have a couple small "runs" in mine because, despite going really slow, I got too close to the tank a couple times and put too much paint in one area. But, it doesn't matter how many runs or anything there are, since you're seeing the paint from in front of the tank, and imperfections in your paint job mean nothing as long as you don't miss any spots!
