as far as scallops. They are a filter feed only. The dirtier the tank the better chance of them surviving(green water helps also). scallops will tend to hid in the tank. I would only get one for the electric ones to watch them fire. most only last 4-6 months.

scalllops are definately cool but most are doomed to die w/o proper feeding. For every succesful story I hear of keeping them I hear a dozen short lived ones. I really wanted one myself but I think I am going to jsut leave them in the wild unless I ever set up a tank for non photosynthetics.

what do they eat? are they like an anemone? just feed them meaty foods? i know that some have to have certain light requirements, whats that for??
