What's going with WMRC members.

Hi,

My name is Trea. I thought it would be cool for WMRC member to post a lil' something about themselves. What kind work/careers to member do or have. Outside of saltwater hobby interests. Things like that. I will start

My name W. Hall III. Trea (pronounced tray) is my nickname. My mom gave that to me when I was a baby, said it sounded like the spanish three and since I am a third it makes it easier to distinguish grandfather from son and grandson. I am married. Wife is a chemist. No little happy meals yet. I am gradutating this June from the Community College of Baltimore County. Going to Towson U this fall. I want to be a history teacher in Baltimore City. I like bowling in the summer leagues. I have about a 165 average. I also draw in my spare time. Developing my skills. This is my first tank and I had it for a year this May 5th. I have had some deaths and some successes. My goal is to learn more about the hobby. Maybe make some new friends in the hobby. I am glad to be a part of WMRC. I love that logo. That's my story. What's yours?

Most of you know me as Skeety...but my real name is Mike Soda (yes...that's my REAL last name).

Outside of reefing...my main hobby is Darts. Not the best...but in the top 20 in my league (out of over a hundred). Gettin' there...

I'm 30 years old. And in June, I'm getting married (legally? the 2nd time. But in my heart...it's truly the first time).

I live in the DC metro area (near Rockville), and work for Lockheed Martin. I'd tell you want I do there, but I'd have to kill you! haha...j/k Actually, I work in the Air Traffic Control sector. I write a piece (very small piece) of the software that Air Traffic Controller's use. been there for almost a decade.

Love music, movies, books, etc. But my other favorite hobby is computer animation. I have pipe dreams of working for I.L.M. or Pixar someday...but time doesn't seem to be permitting me to chase that dream as much as I'd like. Such is the way...hehehe

also really would like to get this club up and off the ground. We've had one meeting so far, and while attendance was a little lacking...I still had a great time getting to know Naztaz and Newbienanoer pretty good. If I wasnt' slammed with the wedding plans, I'd be getting together another meeting.

Looking forward to meeting other reefer's in the area, and trading some frags!

Alright, well im Mark, (was newbienanoer, but now pballafreak). Im still in 9th grade at my high school (Damascus High School). I have been into freshwater for over a year, and really wanted to get into a sw tank. (especialy since I am considering a job in marine biology when I get older.) Right now i have a 10 gallon planted FW tank, and have a 75 gallon freshwater comming soon for african cichlids. Right now I have a nano(5.5 gallon) that I am just starting up and I am planing a 29 gallon softie tank.
Other than fish I like to skate and skateboard. Im not to good at either, but I have fun doing it. I also love DDR. Im pretty good, I have been playing for a couple years now. I actualy live a street away from mike, and was present at the first meeting. And I am looking forward to meeting more of you WMRCers (and possibly other reefers outside of the club, dont want everyone else to feel left out.) So hopefully I can see some of you soon.
