I been getting all my live rock from him so far, he is decently priced compared to other local fish stores. The employees there seem to know what there talking about and are friendly enough to help when needed. Unlike Ricks where as of late it seems your annoying some of the employees asking for help. Though Rick is still pretty good himself.

I would be vary wary of that store and his employees. Not my store of choice locally for sure. They are more concerned about making a sale and less concerned about the health of your tank. Do you ever wonder why there are so many employees and there are always dead fish in his tanks?

I'm in Maryland and have a 29 gal. biocube, know a bit and wishing to learn more. Currently I'm overwhelmed with green stripe mushrooms, I'm not good at tossing things out and have no idea on how to harvest. Perhaps I should look into joining in on your group? I can't say I'll be active for meetings however, would depend on the travel. Blessings, Mary

I need to chime in and say that I've been in Mr. Coral a few times and they have been very helpful and kind. I have also been up to Hancock area at Neptune's Attic, nice people but I'm not usually getting a lot of knowledgeable help. Usually good prices if you know what you are doing. Blessings, Mary

Welcome to TRT!
Start a thread in either general discussion or the softies forum about what issues you are having with the mushrooms and you should get a lot of advice. TRT is a great place filled with friendly and knowledgable reefers.

R U a club?
I guess my main question is are you a club? I'm a novice willing to learn more and was advised to find a salt water club in my area. I'm near the Frederick area, is this the closest group, and are you active? Blessings, Mary

Well the western maryland reef club was organized but never really got off the ground. I have heard of a club up in the chambersburg area just north of hagerstown that is active. Also there is a huge one in northern VA/DC area but i can't remember the name right now.
