We need a logo!

As a club, I'm guessing we need an official logo.

I know I'm somewhat adept at Paint Shop Pro, but anyone else out there pretty good with imaging creation/editing?

Also looking for ideas for our logo. And pictures to may incorporate into our logo.

Was thinking of something like this:

the letter WMRC are rather large, and the focus of the logo. Underneath, in smaller, subtler lettering would be "Western Maryland Reef Club". The entire image maybe could either be the shape of maryland, or have the state's outline very softly surrounding the focus of the image.

Was also thinking the image would have a background picture of some really nice coral and fish/invert shots?

Please share ideas/pics/attempts/etc. As members of the club, you guys are Kings, so fire away!

Some images that might be useful in playing around with new logo concepts:


1. A black outline of the state of MD

2. Simple drop shadow's added in both directions for the above outline. Gives it a softer-more dramatic feel.
