I think the main debate is that they're purely for OUR enjoyment...and to simulate actual lunar cycles isn't really affective, as there's more to them than just dim lighting. There's chemical, gravitational, biological etc queue's that can't be simulated with just computerized led lighting.
but thanks for the link. Interesting...and definitely a step in teh right direction.
And that whole wide-angle thing is neat.
And while I've come to the conclusion I agree that they are useless...I still do like them! so down the road, I might give these a chance.
