I attached base rock to 12 inch by 12 inch sheets of acrylic with silicone in my 150 reef to add stabilty. I attached live rock with posts to the base rock. Have I created conditions that will allow for anaerobic pockets between the 12 by 12"s and glass tank bottom. Plan to add less than inch of sand once live rock cures.
