Any good contractors in DC Metro area?

Okay...this is not really reef releated...but most of you guys are from somewhere in the area.

I need a basement door put in. This involves digging down and making steps outside my house, and then putting in a door/storm door. In the DC area, there are LOTS of contractors who will add an addition to my home (long term contracts), and lots who will change a lightbulb (quick money)...but I can't seem to find anything in between?

Any ideas? Recommendations? friends of friends? etc?

Also, some other work I need done (also looking for contacts):

1. A gazebo built off my deck

2. Structural Engineers (I'm going to be finishing my basement, and need to talk to a Struc Eng about moving some supports out about a foot.

If anyone knows any good leads in the area, or knows someone who would, please either respond here, or drop me an e-mail (mike.soda@lmco.com).

Any help would be appreciated!

Good Contractor

Skeety,

There's a contractor working on my house now. They do great work at good
prices. I know they service your area. Email Joe Snyders @ jsnyders@adelphia.net or call 301-305-2011 and tell Joe that "the aquarium guy"
sent you. I'm sure they can help you out.

MUCH appreciated! Just called him, and set up a meeting!

First guy I've called that would even TALK to me about the job.

Truly appreciate your help!

Skeety,

There's no build picks because the tank, stand and equipment are all
being built and assembled in FL. They will be shipped to me in a few
weeks. The big tank is a double bow 375G. I also have a 154G that
is strangely shaped. Bought that for material cost only, stand is
being built for that now.

I don't know if Joe told you, but in the room where the tanks
will go, the room is completely water-tight to a depth of 4". There are
drains at either end that connect to main waste pipe. There will be a
third drain under the stand for auto-topoff waste or water-change waste.
Electrical and water will also come in under the stand.
