Aquatic Illusions
Aquatic Illusions is a brand new store in Hixson. The owner is still stocking up but it promises to be a great new store. His displays are simply awesome and he has some nice corals right now. I am not sure what his official hours are... I think late afternoon and saturdays are a sure bet. The store doesn't look like much from the front but it's real deep and has lots of stock tanks in the back.
The store is pretty hidden. It's on the back side of a building that faces Hixson Pike and you have to know where If you take Hixson Pike N about a mile from 153 it's on the right just after the huge church. It's in the back of the building Curves is in. It's just before the railroad track bridge. There's really not a visible sign yet but look for the sign for Noise Pollution (car stereo shop).
I'll have to get the hours and phone number for you. The store actually only officially opened on the 15th.
There's also a nice store in East Ridge called Fish Mania and one in Rossville that isn't so well stocked. Pet Warehouse in Hixson has a small reef section but it's clearly not a huge part of thier business. I believe there may be one more store but I have no idea where. Anybody else?
