Wow, looks really nice, I especially like the expansion socket option, since I have to run my MH on a separate circuit.

Thanks for the bump! We don't see to much traffic at this site although we'd love to get things going!

Data Logging Software

This may be a jump on your November releaase, but I have a few questions on the forthcomming data logging software. The RK2 upgrades firmware through the temprature probe port. Will the data logging software I/O through that port? Will there be continuous I/O (constant connection) or will the data be collected for a period of time then made available for download?

RK2 or RKE

I have been wanting an RK2 for a while now. Today when I went to buy one I seen there was an RKE that was going to be pre-released in or around March. Is there a thread for that yet? I am considering waiting for the new release.

I know one option that sure would seal the deal for me on an RKE. I seen it advertised on another system some time ago. With the RKE's internet capabilities, will physical reef conditions be able to be mimicked?

Example: I want my reef to coincide with the conditions found in the lets say the Carribean, or the Indian Ocean, or any other of my favorite reef zones. Programming can include sunrise, sunset, intensity of moonlighting to coincide with actual moon cycles, water temp, current, cloud simu., PH (but that might be a difficult one). If its raining in the Carribean, then 1 or two of my halides should be off. It wouldn't even have to be an exact model of those places, just averages of lets say the last 2 years. Surely that information can be found and databased somewhere so RKEs can access it. Really this is just programming and internet linking. There wouldn't need to be any changes to the hardware b/c the RKE already does all these things, just not in the same context.

If I knew I could get that on a RKE with all of its other great features, I would be sold as fast as I could enter my password on paypal.
