Yeesh, why didn't I see this forum sooner?

OK gang...our area has a club. Where does everyone go out here for their supplies? I live up near Bend...we have a Petsmart (with nothing for reefs), a Petco (with nothing for reefs) and an LFS in Redmond that is full of fish that look like they're about ready to keel over. Is there a place I'm missing?

You pretty much summed it up! I just make use of my trips back to Portland or I put together an order online. I am always for trading if you are interested in that!

I wouldn't have a problem ordering my fish online...if/when I get to that point. I'm still struggling along trying to get the hardware together--and have been since May.

whats up ya'll? Yeah as for places to get stuff there is nothing. Since I work at petco once a week I get deals and dibs on anything good that comes in. I also found out that they are setting up a really nice reef section that myself and a friend of mine will taking care of. All the corals will be ERI and ORA so not to bad and with the right care they should look pretty good too. So hopfully in the future there will be some decent stuff and me to give people good deals and free frags. Anyways lets get a meeting set up some time. I'm game for having it at my place as usual. Oh and whoever wants to give me some frags my tank is ready for em HINT HINT... Well whoever has my # should gimme a call and lets figure out a meeting date and time. Oh yeah kyle, ken, and joe you guys should come over and check out my newly hatched shark!! He's kicks much ass!!!

Later,

Jeremy

Taking a sledgehammer to the tank, smashing it to a million pieces, and having the gratification of knowing that I at least took out my frustrations on it?

Seriously though, I've got a 60x18x25 tank that needs a stand and canopy for a reasonable price, and can't find it. My only requirements are that the thing be sturdy and be made of a wood that is easily stainable to match my other furniture, which is all either solid cherry or mahogany.

Which, again...I can't find. I had 2 cabinet makers come out and try to tell me it'd cost a thousand dollars for a new canopy. So now I'm trying to either A) Sell the tank and stand I have and wait for a full tank/stand/canopy combo to come along on the forums somewhere for me to buy or B) find someone that wants it and will trade me a larger tank/stand/canopy in exchange for mine and either some money or services (preferrably money, as I'm pretty bogged down with clients right now as it is).

Which I'm also having trouble finding :P.

I'm doomed.

I could probably get one (a very nice one) built for pretty **** cheap. Basically the cost of the supplies and some labor, probably less than $200.. If you want, sometime you can check out my hood to give you an idea of whats instore. I'm buidling one for a buddy but I have a friend that would probably make yours and his work is great. Let my know.

If you are talking about Lizard boy. He's a butcher and he under cuts REAL CRTAFTSMEN. His work SUCKS and you can tell the piece of $hi_ I said so!!!! I know a few clients that would take him to court if he was worth anything but CRAP. Oh, and if you think that is Quality, you must be worse off than Stevie Wonder. At least he could feel the garbage!
By the way, My gear is possibly for sale to the right buyer and price.

Question

Butt Hurt????

Didn't say I had a prob with you anywhere in that post. I merely thought someone shouldn't pay for any material then have a butcher hack it all apart. Like I also said, He has to under cut real craftsman so bad that he can even get work. More subs than I can count on both hands have been called to fix his crap. He needs to be ran out of town!!!!! He may be a friend, but he's NO woodworker!!!!!
