August Meeting - August 19

The August meeting will be held at Fish Tails, on Thursday, August 19, 2004 starting at 7:00 pm. (Eveything Fishy was to hold the August meeting, but a thief smashed the front door, and did what thieves do...) There will be door prizes and snacks. The meeting is free to all who attend. Any minutes/notes on the meeting? Have you set a date for the next one?

The meeting was great! We don't have formal minutes, so here's what happened:
We talked about a community service project that would put donated aquariums in the local schools. We also discussed obtaining any educational materials available from Disney (Finding Nemo) that we could use to distribute to the schools.

Karen and John at Fish Tails put out a great spread of food; enough to feed a small army. Thanks to them for hosting the August meeting!

The next meeting will be a covered dish get together on September 16 at 7:00pm. A map and directions will be posted this week.
