The Asheville Aquarium is looking forward to helping promote groups like the Asheville
Reef Club and The Asheville
Marine Aquarium Society. Whether it is hosting meetings, or even making flyers available to our customers and letting them know you are out there, I think we will all gain from working together. You gain membership from those who didn't know you were out there, and I gain a customer who has a chance to learn from those that are truly passionate about the hobby. As you saw, the store is set up to encourage people to come in, get some coffee, sit down in our display area and pick up a fish book, or gaze longingly into our empty 265 gallon make believe mini ocean
. The store was intentionally designed to show people how tanks and fish can and should be kept, and to help guide them with education and awareness so they can enjoy their hobby.
Belinda and I are excited that the Asheville Reef Club found us, and we're equally happy to see what you're doing. We've already seen interest in both groups from some of the customers who have come in so far.
Your website looks great. (I especially like the info about us!) Keep us in mind as you move forward!
