Im considering 2 metal halides, but I cant decide exactly which bulbs i'd like. I like the looks of the 15k and 20k's but I know growth wise they wouldnt be the best for softies and what not.

Yeah, most places around here charge out the wazoo for anything like that. I'll probably go with a setup from hellolights.com or diyreef.com Unless anyone can find me a good deal elsewhere.

I've really been hunting for good deals on substrate. I really want to do a little cryptic zone like they have on garf.org

Something similar to this.....I dont really want to order anything from them but I do like the looks of this bottom. Kinda want to find the right mix for it.

I like that... I have crushed coral in a 20 long, and was thinking about getting a
bunch of rock rubble to place on the bottom. Just to see if it looks better ??

Where are you located Cookie Monster? Good luck finding anything in Lexington that even resembles something for Metal Halide. I order most everything online. I do buy a few things at the stores in Lexington just because I happen to be in town for some reason. Good luck on your setup.
