I'm getting my freshwater feet wet again, so starting right at the beginning would be a benefit to me.

just about anything is fine with me! i have a lot of holes in my knowledge base on FW that need to be filled.

i like the basics idea.

do different bio-types require different setups?

Well I would say that serious discus setups are different than typical community tanks, then again large cichlids are hell on UGF, Wet/dry works for these, then you have the Rift Lake biotope . Hows that for starters

Hey gang wanted to say Im sorry for not keeping up I have been sick and also working my hind end off but will get caught up this weekend hopefully. I have a article started on the apisto dwarf cockatoo. I am awaiting permission to post some of the info from another site.
