Red face

Well, forget pruning for a while...

I went downstairs with the scissors to prune some very tall vals and maybe snip off some sideshoots for propigating. I took off the lights and the canopy and looked down at the leaves trailing across the water....

.....and saw lots of liddle baby fishies

My livebearers have gone live.

its been years since i've had baby fish. The leaves are dense enough at the top that the adults can barely push their way through, but the babies hang out just under the surface and catch the tiny dust size bits of food as it floats by.

Fun again.

I think its the guppies, the only platies i have appear to be female, unless one of the new platies were pregnant when i got them. Those buggers are still too small to tell much. I forgot how slow they grow.
