Well, I've decided to give up my oscar fish and his tankmates. Not a nice choice, but I'm spending a lot of time on maintenance of him NOW, and he's only half grown. Plus we're moving within a few weeks, I still work(though the stupid company decided to cut even full time employees down to a weekend only job

) and am going to hopefully be going back to school full time next semester(or shortly thereafter. . .) Even my 10 gal. nano doesn't take nearly as much work. . . So the plan is to cut the oscar, pleco and 3 silver dollars(most likely.) and put the 20 gallon community tank into the 60, and put the nano into the 20 gal. and hopefully use the 10 as a sump/fuge eventually. Plus with a lot less hours at work I'm afraid I won't be able to keep feeding him like I do(make a mix that has a lot of frozen stuff, a lot of veggies and a lot of pellets.)
Right now the tank has a gravel bottom, though I am going to be using sand and fluorite in it. I've got a
canister filter and a HOB filter on it, each move 350 GPH(60 gallon tank) and regular strip lights(oh, and a heater.) I'm thinking about seeing how the little fish do with both filters so I can keep more in there, but maybe not, if they can't handle the flow or something.
I'm thinking about giving the silver dollars a new home because I don't want to risk them eating the neons(they get to be a LOT bigger, and though they're herbivores I really don't entirely trust them. Plus 3 6X4" fish in the same tank with a ton of 1-3" fish would just look funny

)
I'm going to put everything from the 20 gallon into it. Some tiny/half dead plants, 1 danio, 1 rasbora, 4 cory cats, 2 khuli loaches, 1 small pleco(4" tops) 5 feeder guppies, neons. And snails. Lol, petsmart is going to love me, I'm going to go in there and wipe them out of all of the snails I can see in their tanks(they give them away)
I WANT to put in a school of cories, I'd like to have between 7-9 of them. I also want to get the rasbora about 4 tankmates of his own kind, so he isn't alone anymore. And I'll get more danios, though I'm going to mix varieties of those. Probably get up to a couple/few of the varieties available here. While I'd like more feeder guppies, I don't think I'll get any more, considering that the guy at the store I get them from USED to be willing to grab males or females for someone, but refuses to do so any more, even when you tell them that they are going to be a display, not a dinner. I also want to get a few platies and swordtails to put in there. I know you aren't supposed to mix and match varieties of fish, but it's worked in the past for me, soo. . . Lastly I want a HUGE school of neon type fish. I'm thinking eventually up to around 30 of them. Neons, black neons(I don't know if they'll school together>_>) glo-lights possibly cardinals. The tiny little things. Hehehe. I've always liked them anyways, and I think it would be awesome to have a big school of them in a big tank now that I'll likely be able to.
So a big school of neon tetra type fish(hm, wwm says you can keep up to 1/gallon

) a school of cory cats, a small school of danios and rasboras, a couple of random loner fish, and maybe some others if space/money allows. What do you guys think? Overstocked or fine?
