thanks
i'd like to tone down the amount of yellow my camera picks up, but doing that makes the plants look dull....
the lights in reality aren't quite that yellow, but i tried to pick nice green plants... some have leaves that need to be trimmed, but i didn't want to mess with them too much right off the bat.

Ice,,,can you adjust "white balance" on your camera?
likely the flo' lights messing with the color,,,

it only seems to have an "indoor" and "outdoor" setting.... neither made much of a difference for some reason. It does the same thing to my salt tank, you may have seen how green my rocks look- they look like they are stained in algae (they are actually much whiter). The camera does the same with the almost black ecocomplete- see how it looks like it has a green hue to it....
i usually take out the green stain with a photo editor, but the pics always look edited after and i just didn't have the energy to fool with it last night. I might play with a few later... the plants really are a nice bright green- except for the one with the new leaves coming in, those are a nice marooney color.
