Question

residue on glass

YIPES! What am I doing in this forum?

A friend of mine is working on cleaning the glass on her 10 gal tank. She says that up above the water line there is a white coating of something or other that she can't scrape off. The usual elbow grease didn't work.

Sooo...she called me (moi??) to find out how to clean that off. Since her critters are in a holding tank until she cleans it, I suggested that she use baking soda or distilled white vinegar and scrub like mad. Then rinse, rinse, rinse and rinse more. Don't want any of that to remain either.

What say ye?
