That is a good looking tank. You better give that ozelot sword some room to grow though... they get quite big.

i have a 280 that i have been thinking of setting up as a plant/fish tank. How hard is it to kep those plants alive and the fish from eating them?

280 is a good sized beginner tank

If you get the right fish they don't mess with the plants.
