new siamese shark!

Hi! I've had this fishy about 2 weeks now, just wanted to see how she took to my tank before showing her off. She's tiny, only about 3" long, but she's got a fat belly and I swear she's gotten bigger already! She's in the 72g so that should be fine for her for quite some time. atm she's only got two giant danios and a large green severum as tank mates so there's enough room for all.
I also scooped the sassy cray out of the 38g and dropped her into the 72g as well, she was getting nasty with the little fish, and my albino cory went awol so that was the last straw! The severum loves to harrass the cray and when she molts she had better hide very well!

Here's my new sharky!

Pangasius Cat, I've had one for ten years, but unfortunatly I was six when I got em and had no idea of how big they get, and I don't have the space to set up anything bigger than a 30 gallon. Supposed to get up to 40 inches in the wild but yours shouldn't get any bigger than 12 inches. Seems you have em in a good place! Funny fish. Very good looking one you got there.

thanks! Pangasius? *grabs book* (the Encyclopedia of Freshwater Tropical Fishes, by H. Axelrod, etc.) Ah yes, that's the species!

I got her at walmart, but ironically that is the only place that I never have trouble with the fish!!! They call them irridescent sharks *snickers* but I go by the ID's in my book.
