new betta and some pics

Well I'll try again, it's been years since I've had a betta but I've never had much luck with them. This one went into the tank so we'll see what happens. Also saw today that my corys have cropped tails, so the crayfish may still end up going into the 72g... I won't have him killing cute little fish in this tank.
Here's the betta and a few shots I got of sleepy neons and a glolight. It's 2am so time for me to get sleepy as well. Enjoy!

oh no, I did that once and the male harrassed her to death. Nope, just one pretty boy, I'm not into the whole breeding thing anyways.

I used to have 2 or 3 females with mine with no problem. And the bubbling from the old filter systems (think back to the good old days ) kept breeding from being an issue.

Nice pics Hope all is well with you. I would def take out the crayfish. Some ppl have luck with them in a community tank but I have not had suck luck. If you like the crayfish maybe pick up some glass shrimp or amano shrimp. They are as a general rule very peaceful.

I've never been able to keep ghost shrimp, they always end up getting "et!". I've been keeping her well fed with algae tabs and shrimp pellets. When she gets bigger she's going into the 72g, but right now I'm afraid she could possibly get eaten cuz she's less than 3" long.
