Need help stocking a 10g

My current inhabitants in my 10g are: 3 Zebra danios, 2 Zebra cories, and an Amano shrimp. It also has a plant Ceratopteris Thalictroides. Is it overstocked or understocked? What else would you put in it?

pH: 8.0 Temp: 79-80 Ammonia/Nitrite/Nitrate: 0

Thanks.

I would say you are about mid stocked. With some of the smaller fish ya can cheat the 1 inch per gallon rule because they do stay small. Think little fish little poop. I would go with some more zebra's or maybe a small school 3-5 tetra's maybe

thnx

Alright... I agree with you about the mid stocked thing, but I think 5 tetras would be too much (although in one of my fish books it states 40 neons can be housed in a 15 gallon >.<) I'll probably want 1 more cory (really great fish) and maybe like 1 more long finned danio (great and hardy.) If I'll wanna stock more though, I've been thinking of getting an air pump (my tank stays around 80ish, and thus there's less oxygen there, so maybe like an air pump would be able to increase the bioload capacity)

One question though, what's you guys' opinions on dwarf gouramis? I was thinking of goin to the petstore and buying: 1 cory, 1 dwarf gourami, some shrimp pellets, and like a small airpump w/ extra tubing. Does this sound alright?

p.s. if anyone has tips or advice towards keeping the dwarf gouramis species, plz post

We had a gourami but he was really mean and tortured the rest of the fish endlessly. We ended up with a big blue lobster and some feeders finally and a bunch of tacky bubbly little dohickys like a cannon that fires a big old bubble of air. The tank is in the computer room so we did not even try to make it look pretty.

Also the gourarmi took out our bigger algae eaters so we got one tiny little Chinese algae eater that keeps the tank pristine and has not gotten eaten by the lobster in three months now.

I personally think you should take out the Danios and go with the mini neon rainbows. But you can also have both. My danio pissed me off so much by being a skitso I fed him to my africans.
