Question

Mysis for FW?

Just wondering,,,i set up my cousin in FW over the holidays (Africans) and i quess he heard me talking about foods,,,and i quess heard remembered me saying good things about Mysis shrimp,,,He told me today he got some for his Africans,,,and they loved it,,,although he said the package said "saltwater fish food"
Are mysis OK for FW once inna while?
He does use a variety of foods, so this won't be a only food,,
he did say they went crazy for it,,,plus i thought mysis was a FW shrimp(gonna go check inna lil bit)

I went through a package of Mysis a while back, my South AMericans loved it too. The only problem I saw was that when they package Mysis, they add in a "filler" of some sort, or maybe it processed shrimp that when it melts in the water, it clouds up...ALOT!

I went back to Brine Shrimp every once in a while, they don't seem to cloud up at all.

I also feed very meaty foods on occasion, beef heart, poached chicken, or fish. and some shrimp.

My fish really love the Tetra Min Pro Tropical Crisps. They literaly jump out of the water trying to get it.
