More Black Moor Problems

Ok, so how he completely looks like a little pinecone (scales sticking out,) and on one side he has like this clear bubble sticking off of him from a scale. I'll try and get a picture tomorrow, but for now any ideas would be great.

it sounds like dropsy. let us know if any of those ailments sound like what its got, if it is not dropsy.

Those symptoms sound just right...he has dropsy

The tank is currently at 70 degrees...should I raise the temp slow like 2 degrees a day or what??

I'm going to pick up some epsom salt tomorrow.

Do fish recover from this pretty well?? I'd be really really upset if we lost him...he's mine and my husbands favorite fish

Just a little update...I've been treating him and at first three more of the clear bubbles showed up on his side but now they've all shrunk to almost nothing. He's looking a little better I'm still hoping he'll make it through it!!

He is the warrior fish afterall....he's had ich, finrot, and popeye...recovered like a champ from all sickness so hopefully from this too

I just wanted to let you know that it seems Bari (Mr. Black Moor) has made a full recovery!! Thank you soooo much...he wouldn't have made it without you!

If anyone was wondering....I treated him with marycin 2 and epsom salt with bi-weekly water changes and the filter off
