Mangroves

Has anyone tried growing mangroves? I'm toying with the idea of turing my 29 gallon into a mangrove tank. I will be putting down a hard plastic liner to keep the roots from being a issue. I plan on getting seeds so I can acclimate them to freshwater versus brackish and salt and so I can get the prop roots going. Does anyone have any tips or recomendations for me?

sounds like a neat idea. you will need a deeper gravel bed.

Yeah, I was thinking of using a tubberware container with about the same measurements as the tank to hold it, that way transfer woul be fairly easy, and building up a rock ledge with sand behind it so I could have some roots trailing dow the front
