Hi Wiskey, long time no see.
It's a 75 gallon AGA, about 400W of VHO, lots of CO2, ferts. Not much else.
That pic is about a year old. I haven't taken any pics of anything since the reef came down. Maybe I oughta!

Graham, do you have the species name of that angelfish? I'd like to find some for my 150 gallon.

No idea. Plain old scalare as far as I know (and can tell), but I think they are wild caught. I've never seen them with so much blue like that before...

Sure! Put up new pics! That's quite a bit of light, do you have any Algae issues? Do you run a pressurized CO2 setup with the PH controller? How often do you dose ferts? I did a few of these really high light tanks but eventually went natural with them just to avoid daily fert dosing.

No algae to really speak of. A little black hard stuff grows on the Anubias, but I have 2 SAEs that take good care of it for the most part.
It's pressurized CO2 with a solenoid on a timer that turns it off at lights out. Saves CO2 and allows me to really pump it in during the day. I built my own reactor out of PVC that sits outside the tank in-line after an Eheim canister filter.
I dose ferts every day - but only one thing. Iron one day, Nitrate the next, then K, then PO4, then some bicarb, occassional Ca and Mg depending on hardness. I try to keep the GH under 3 and the KH around 2 or 3.

WOW!!! very nice tanks. I love planted aquariums. I am collecting parts to build a 29 gallon planted. So far I have a AC-110(500) HOB Filter, 2- 2 by 65 watt ballasts and 2 10K bulbs and the stand. My reef is taking all my wifes patience for now! Maybe one day!!!

hey Marcalo, nice tank, but it won't be long before the shark and catfish outgrow that ten gallon. You may want to look into getting something bigger...
Graham, I need to know what camera settings you use to get that color in your pics!!! Gorgeous!

That's sweet, Tank.
I've always had a soft spot for the Tropheus...
Jessica,
Camera settings....whew, dunno on that one! I usually opt for the manual settings with my point and shoot, though. I find that getting close to the glass and setting the aperture and shutter speed as small and fast (respectively) as I can usually gives the best results. Such settings do require a decent amount of light, so that usually limits how small and fast I can go and still see what I shot. I really need a newer camera - that's my old 3 Mpixel Sony there!
