Koi massacre.
I lost every fish in my pond this week.
From what I have gathered from Koi Reflections, I had a costia (parasite) bloom triggered by a ph crash helped along by torrential rains and a late spawn that was caused by severe fluctuation in temperature through April and early May.
Casualties:
12 or so "shiner" minnows.
(7) 12" + koi (including "Big Mama"; a 27 inch fantail butterfly that I've had for 12 years).
Doo-doo.

That really sucks. It is hard anytime you lose one fish much less an entire setup of fish.

Holy! I feel your pain. It hasn't happened to me, but I can image how I would feel if my Koi died. What part of Texas are you from?
