Is it possible?
My female feeder guppy was the only one left after moving to my 46 turtle tank. She was not pregnant. The other day I bought some black and white platy's. Now she looks preg. Is this possible for her to be pregnant from a platy?

Yes is it quite possiable they can retain sperm from a male for up to 6 months at a time. Kinda used as needed type thing

So you are saying that she could be pregnant by the old male guppy, not the platy.

now, i think platies and swords can cross breed, but i'm not too sure about guppies and platys... i'd say its more likely that she still has some of the old male guppy's DNA
boy ain't i gald humans aren't made like that

Yes thats correct. As I understand it they can retin the sperm from the previous males and repopulate as needed in the wild

Yep they can store sperm. Pretty freaky, huh?
At least you shouldn't end up with Puppies (platy x guppy...)
