Green Spotted Puffer Fish


I just bought a 10gallon fish tank and two green spotted puffer fish how much salt and water am I suppose to add into the tank? I really need the help.

That is a difficult fish to keep if you have not messed with them before. If they are very young you can slowly acclimate them to salt water. I kept mine about 1.005. You raise the salinity very slowly over several weeks. I always got them very young and could get away with keeping them in a brackish tank that I had. When they got a little bigger I took them to the LFS and they hooked me up with great store credit cause they could get them ready for the big boys to come buy them. If you plan on keeping them for good you will need a much larger tank as well. They grow fairly fast and they will eat until they kill themselves.
