getting salt out of rocks?

I have some dried out tufa and lava rocks that used to be in my saltwater tank. Id like to use them in my freshwater but im afraid of all that salt.
How can i make these rocks safe for freshwater?

I would try soaking them in fresh water using a powerhead, with several water changes.

Maybe use a strainer and run water over them continuously?!? What kind of fish are you going to be keeping (a little salt probably will not necessarily hurt anything...)

I think Ciclids actually like a little salt in the water, I know people that actually put salt in their cichlid tanks. Ask a more pointed question in a new post (maybe in the FW forum) and I am sure more people will help. I know Lemonheadmech (I think that is the name) is a pretty avid FW guy. He can probably help you a lot more than me. Maybe even send him a PM. Sorry I am not much help myself.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Maybe 4 good soaks. Just stick the rocks in a bucket and cover with fresh water. Leave for a few days, rinse, and repeat.

If it were me I would just rince them under a hose, or under the sink for a few min. Like said above african chichlads like hard water, and allot of people add some salt to their tanks.

I really wouldn't be worried about it,
