Freshwater Morays

Anyone have any experience with these? Are they really fw or more brackish?
How large can they get ?

My LFS has been carrying them for a year or so and I'm getting interested.

All I know is heresay. I hear they are very sensitive but are tru FW. THey need a large footprint tank just like sw rays and sharks and very soft substrate.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

The first ones I saw were all less than 8" or so. The newest arrivals are all over a foot and more closely resemble the typical marine morays. They're not a very colorful fish but I'm thinking of trying a few.

Any info on ph levels ?

hope this works. I had suspected they were amazon origin (most SW stuff that adapts to FW seems to be there) so acidic soft water is likely the way to go.
