Any good online places to get FW fish for a community tank?

I know they sell FW fish but as for community fish i dont know which ones those are. I have never done FW tanks ever.

Not really its a new tank and has nothing in it yet just thought I could read about some species online and try to decide what I like. Thanks Tim.

Your Placid fish will be Tetras, Mollies, and some of the dwarf Cichlids. What do you have in mind for the tank? Don't do goldfish at all if you want to add normal FW fish. I would say try a Pirhana tank instead they would love blender mush!

Its the kids tank so they want a community one with platties,neons etc the nice kind.

NICE!!! phooey... Yup, Tetras and Tetras are pretty much it then. avoid angels and discus. Make sure you get a minimum of 2-3 of the same fish with tetra's so they can school.
