they are the ones some genetic scientists spliced with jellyfish genes, they are a super flashy red and if you put a blacklight on them at night they phosphoresce (sp?)
they are fast little buggers (as normal zebra danios are), all i get when i try to take pics are these neon pinkish streaks.
i'll give it another go sometime tonight and post the pics if i get any good ones.
i think about a year or 2 ago, there was a fair uproar about these fish. lots of unfounded fears that the genetically manipulated results of the experiment were going to cause some subatomic rift in the kareleon galaxy and thereby alter life as we know it, yanno, crop circles, third eyes and all.
i think i even said i'd never buy them, but when the price came down from $15 a fish to about $1.89 each... i bravely threw caution to the wind and have a small school of these unnatural mutants.
