Filter question

Hey guys, Can I bug you again

I hve a 36 gallon with driftwood and Lilaeopsis brasiliensis (96watts lights) and I am going to get some small fish - a few shrimp - and maybe a snail.

I have been looking at the AquaClear 70

or over doing it with the Eheim 2026.

I am not sure which filter is right for me. Second I am not sure what media is best in what configuration. Some people only use one for mechanical and the other for biological .. some take out the carbon. I am not sure what combination of media in either set is appropriate.

I would over do it. I dont think you can overfilter a FW tank. The filtration IME should go mechanical, Bio, then chem.
