Fat Black Moor

I have a 29g FW tank with three fish in and one is the piggiest black moor ever. For the past day or two he's spent most of his time just sitting on the rocks pooping away. He looks really really fat like A LOT bigger than usual. I just put in a plant about a week and wonder if he's overeating it? He looks totally normal cept that he's fat, pooping all the time and the poop is green. Here's a picture of him and you can see the plant in the background. Sorry I have no clue what kind of plant it is.

Gezzzz he does look fat.

Are his scales pokin out by chance to make him look like a pine cone or are they laying flat as normal?

actually he looks fine to me. they are normally a fat fish and like all goldfish... his life is dedicated to eating and pooping. the plant is anacaris and is common in aquaria. be careful or it will take over a tank. never release it into local rivers. i have seen black moors the size of softballs.

He's always been big and he is FOR SURE the most aggressive eater in the tank...The other fish wait for him to take the first bite or he will chase them away!

In the top half of his body his scales look normal but by his belly are sticking out a bit. I wouldn't be so concerned about him being so fat except he's still just sitting at the bottom of the tank on the rocks. He's usually so much more active! When he does swim it almost looks like he's so fat its hard for him to move.
