As for a source to buy live bloodwoorms(actually a midge larvae), Kordon used to sell sachets of live bloodworms, but I no longer see them listed at their homepage.
Try looking in the classifieds in tropical fish magazines and checking out Yahoo Groups under Live Foods.
Most anywhere you find mosquito larvae you will find bloodworms in the same water. You may have some in your backyard right now.

That's good stuff and many independent LFS carry Omega foods. I use them in the shop - I feed their "first flake" as part of my varied diet to my shop inhabitants.

Jeff - nice discus tank... I've never kept them but want to get into them in the shop - looks like I've got some homework to do.

I'm going to a trade show at the end of the month and am going to take the PIJAC FW certification course... going back to school

They are soooo pretty. Boy they have come a long way since I started in FW - they used to be just brown and a few high-dollar blue or green ones. I LOVE those red ones - absolutely gorgeous.

A customer loaned me 2 of his discus books last night. I am going to do some reading!
