I wo9uld by all means look at the mag 350 delux made by marineland. They have a great product and IME great customer service to boot. I belive some of our sponsors on the site here carry these.

Dito on what Jeff said,,,,

The Fluval line, suggest mebbe the 404 for you, is a nice one too, the latest models are very good, a lot of media option usage available to go with, over the kinda small chem media container with the Magnum tho.
Think there is 4 media baskets in the Fluval,,so you can put in many different thing in it,,and has a two large foam pre-filters too,,just my 2 cents,,,
And a great customer service dept...even after warranty is over,,in my experience,,,they replaced the motor assembly ,after 3 yrs of having mine,,,,for free!

fluval 404 is the way to go. I have used the 304 and the 404 and they are totally maintenance friendly. Only have to change carbon once couple of months. set it an forget it

I have both Fluval404's and Magnum 350's in use,,,both have their good points,
kinda does the same thing, but each has their own special use ,,,,

You can run the Magnum as a diatom filter,
and the Fluval has more space/containers for bio/mech/chemical filtration.
