Yeah, consolidated shipping got some other goodies too. Still makes a great thread though=) That #1 driftwood in Juneau, makes me think I should have done some gathering this summer. I know he aint growing the stuff which leads another question. I know some great sites nearby to find some awesome pieces. Driftwood hunting is a hobby itself for some Alaskans. People make all kinds of cool furniture walking sticks ect. If I could gather some nice pieces from a pristine Junaeu type locals, (Junaeu is in the middle of NOWHERE!) couldnt I cure/clean it for use? What would be the process? Would it go somthing like this?
Scrub, soak, boil, scrub, soak, boil, scrub, soak, test. Repeat.
