Angels laid second batch of eggs.

My angels laid their second batch of eggs last night, the male seems to be the one protecting them. He keeps running the female off. Is this typical? Wonder if they will eat this batch of eggs?

No when I did them both parents did the parenting. Ya shure ya have a male female? I know you said you bought them as a pair but were they a proven pair? (meaning have they bred b4)

How soon apart do they lay?

this is the second batch of eggs sha has laid. It was about 14 -17 days since she laid the last batch. The eggs are furtile because they are clear and not white. These are my first Angels but not my first egg layers. I have successfully spawned and hatched, zebras, rosybarbs, black neons, blue neons, Panda cory dorys, and albino cory dorys, all fertlized eggs are clear and infertile ones are white. I moved the slate out of the tank because they would knock the eggs off then eat them. I have the slate in a 2.5 gallon until they hatch. After a week I will move them into a 6 gallon, then a 30 I hope.

When I uded it I simply hard boiled a egg and used a small piece in like a media bad and they will smell it and will eat thru the bag. You can also just put it directly in the tank if your running a bare bottom and syphon it out after a hour or so so it doesnt begin to decay.
