Western Wisconsin's Reef Club (WWRC) Dead?

Is Western Wisconsin's Reef Club (WWRC) Dead? I am sad to see a club so close die off. Are there any reefers left in La Crosse? Any other clubs? I know Brian (pogodzib - La Crosse, WI) is still around since he was at my house this weekend. There has not been a post on this board by a “Club” member in the last year?!? Time to shut it down? Time for a new forum to take its place?

You're somewhat correct Michael. I am a club member as I have received e-mails and met with other members about 1 1/2 yrs ago, but their website has not been updated since I became a member to officially show me as a member.

If there are other reef keepers in western WI that would be interested in a meeting, please post. I do know of a couple people that may be interested. At the very least, we can set up a list of contacts for getting advice and trading frags,

No problem Michael. It's hard to feel like a club member anyway when there aren't any meetings.

I hope the cheato is going good. I grows quickly for me under 5k lighting, so I'm sure it will grow like crazy for you. The branching hammer looks good. I glows alot more under my VHO's than your T5's, so it looks like your probably correct about the actinics fading quickly with the T5's.

My wife loved your softies tank, especially the huge toadstools. She can't stop talking about hoping that our toadstool can look like that in 5 years.

UPDATE: I have gotten ahold of several people from within the club, and a key person that helped setup the club website. Hopefully, I will be able to take over control of the website and get the club moving forward again.

That great! It sounds like you are putting a lot of hard work into this. I hope your efforts pay off.

FYI: RMAC is considering haveing a weekend meeting in a couple of months to hopefully attract people from La Crosse & the Twin Cities. Updates will be in the RMAC forum.
