North Star Corals closing it's doors
It is with great sadness that I am announcing today that North Star Corals is no longer in business. Due to family issues, I have decided that I must have more time to spend with my wife and children, and at this point in time, I am unable to have a full time career during the day, as well as running the coral business at night and still give my family the attention that they deserve.
I have also decided to completely take down my large system. At this time it is the best thing for me to do. I will get back into it someday when I have the time, but for now I feel that it's best to give it up.
I appologize to anyone who was on a waiting list for corals, as I will not be able to fulfil those requests. My last order will ship out on Wednesday.
Thank you to all of the customers who purchased corals from me. Your support was greatly appreciated. I hope that all of the frags that went out accross the United States will grow into big beautiful colonies for all of you.

If any way possible, I think you should at least do a nano or something easy and small. That way you still have time with your family or even make a home aquarium so the whole family can work on it with you and enjoy it. This hobby seems a big part of you and to just leave it coldturkey is diffucult and a big surprise to many. But always like you said, family first!

Bill,
I am terribly sorry to read about this. You were one of the good guys in this hobby/business. I wish you and your family all the best and if there is ANYTHING I can do, let me know.

Thanks everyone. I am very sad about this, because i truley enjoy working with the customers and loved my system, but as many of you have said, family does come first. As an FYI, this was not an ultimatum, or an emegency shut down situation, but after much careful thought, it was the right decision. I will certainly still be around, and I'm sure I'll set something up again, but I'll wait until I have more time.
Thanks again for your support, and Andy I'd still like to stop by this April when I'm down your way. I'll be in touch!

Shoot Bill, I know how much you enjoyed this.
I also know how much time it takes and there's only so much time to go around. I'm sure you made the right choice. Remember we can still do this in our old age - pump don't lift. I'll keep a frag or two for you.

Well don't be too sad for me. I have a wonderful family that I will have a lot more time to spend with. Like Jerel said, there will be time for tanks later...
