How would one go about making a tunze stream rotate 180 deg.?

Hmmmmm I have been toying with the idea of using a wiper motor and mechanism. It would be big and bulky, but mounted above the canopy

i was trying to think of a way to do that, but i was also concerned with the flow on a short side of a tank. i would be worried about slosh over as it arcs around with that much flow. i have ideas to rotate it around lets say 90ish but 180 is kinda tough.

90 wouldnt be too bad I guess. I would have it mounted on the back of the tank anyways so there would be a short side with each pass ehhehe.

that is about what i was thinking, just not near as elegant. i think that would be the best bet right there. the biggest problem i see is the length of the entire contraption. are you thinking of using an eductor connected to a PH, or an eductor powered by a remote pump. with a PH the pivot is not a problem but total length is. the other way the pivot will be the problem with the feed pipe.

I seen that and thought it was a pretty cool idea. I have kinda come to a quandry though. I dont think I am going to use it in the new tank though I may just do the jump to 3/4th's Sea Swirls so if ya have one maybe we can talk some business heheh
