Question about acentic bulbs

Okay, I want to add some low watt no acentics to my 90. I only want to use them for a morning wake up call instead of the mh just coming on full force and freaking my fish out. I have a couple of 24 florescent fixtures. It says 19 watts but the only acentic bulbs I have found are 20 watts. Can they work in the fixtures? They are the normal fixtures that come with 20 gallon aquariums.

I would think they would still fire up in those fixtures if they are the correct length, although that is still just a guess. By the way did you mean actinic?

yeah. I couldn't figure out where I posted this. reposted in general thread. I did find a 15 watt bulb tho.
