I have two that hide almost all the time. They will come partially out of hiding when it's feeding time.

I have four that are out all the time, another thats out maybe 50%, and a smaller one that hides a lot. But I don't have any fish yet in my tank. Do you have fish? Maybe they're scared of being snacked upon.

It varies on the shrimp, and it's tank mates. Mine stayed hidden most of the time at first, and now, slowly, he comes out more and more during the day. The same for my friend, and now his shrimp come out ALL the time..and man..are they fat! ROFL

I have 2, I saw them the day I put them in but not since. My aptasia are gone and haven't returned so they must be in there! I have a 15"+ brittle, 3 serpant stars but have never lost a shrimp or fish to them before. If my aptasia make a return then my stars probably had a couple of $7 snacks! HTH

I have one and it's out all the time....he likes to hang upside down most of the day, but he's out and about alot. I hand feed him too, which is cool...I guess I got lucky...

thanks everyone,
it must be the school of hungry man eating greem chromis that are scaring them, or maybe it's those Monroe lips on the Kole tang. they are afraid they will get scrubbed to death
