Illegal immigrant
This one has us all confused. This is a picture of Stenopus spinosus, native to the Red Sea.
Collected in Islamorada, Fl at a aprox depth of 300ft. At first we thought we had a new species, Corrie at Dynasty correctly IDed it though.
Actually we have a pair.

Hobbyist are such a small tiny bit of the picture, they don't even factor in.
Sometimes ships/boats, but we're beginning to think there's a lot more down deep than we'll ever know about. I'm beginning to believe most of these things are making it over on their own somehow.
For example, this is a animal that's not even available in the hobby trade. Even if it was, common sense will tell you the chances of a pair surviving everything it would take to get here and establish are astronomical.

They were pulling up in a crabbers pot, actually in the bait bag in the pot, and came up as a pair. I'm assuming there's a lot more where these came from.
They eat the normal shrimp food, just like bandeds or cleaners.
